my american lit class was reading the conclusion of ‘of mice and men’ out loud and right after george shot lennie this fucking kid shouts “LIKE DIS IF U CRY EVERY TIME”
this isn’t funny omg i was actually doing a great job of keeping myself together until that kid said that and then i just sort of exploded into a gooey pile of heaving sobs
Somehow that just makes it funnier.
I also have a feeling that someday
Sam is going to really get sick of talking and responding that she’s going to resort to sign language
because that’s how she gets when she doesn’t want to verbally talk anymore
